WHAT TO WEAR: Traveling

What to Wear

Winter break is fast approaching meaning lots of sleeping, going out and hopefully traveling! If you plan on staying at your college town or just going back home that doesn’t mean you can’t explore new and different places. Traveling can happen all around and there is always something exciting to do as long as your with the right people and most importantly wearing the right outfit.

I spotted this Fashionista walking down towards Sproul and I just had to stop her. I love how rock ‘n’ roll and effortless she looks. We are in our last week of classes and a lot of people have begun to resort to Cal gear and yoga pants, so it was a breath of fresh air running into this Fashionista! Not only is her outfit comfortable for finals week and endless hours in the library, but it is also great for traveling and being out and about for long hours.

What I love most about her outfit is her big brim hat. It is very Annie Hall and not to mention plain old chic. It gives the outfit a new flair while also keeping her head warm from the brisk weather Berkeley is facing. Her camel coat is great because it is something that will always be in style and you can dress it up or down depending on the occasion. Her straight leg jeans are both comfortable and trendy. Pairing them with some heels, red lip and white tee would look amazing for a night out. Her Chelsea boots are so cool and add to the rock ‘n’ roll vibe of the look and are perfect for a long day of walking.

One Simple Change: To take this look from day to night I would swap the boots for a pair of block heels. Ditch the hat and throw you’re hair into a high bun and you are ready for a fun and comfortable night out.
