WHAT TO WEAR: Traveling

What to Wear

Once it gets to mid fall in New York City, it becomes too cold to just roam around in a sweater. People start layering up with jackets, scarves, hats and even gloves. No one wants to be walking from place to place shivering. That is why it is important to make sure you are properly dressed. With the semester coming to a close and winter break right around the corner, a nice warm jacket is perfect for walking around to do last minute grocery shopping and errands before heading home.

This Fashionista is dressed perfectly for a trip home to visit family. She is sporting light washed denim ripped jeans, a loose white T-shirt and around her waste she tied a blue button-down. Tying a shirt around your waste is very in style right now and I wouldn’t be shocked if everyone is rocking a tied flannel or button down this fall and winter season. What makes this Fashionista’s outfit so unique is her fur cheetah jacket. She rocks it perfectly and it pulls together her entire outfit along with her black booties which are a must have this fall.

It is essential to stay comfortable yet chic while traveling. You never know who you’re going to bump into or what your family has planned for you when you return home. So, take advice from this Fashionista before you head home. She knows how to travel in style.

One Simple Change: For a fancier outfit you can swap the light washed jeans for a pair of black denim jeans and add a bright pink or yellow clutch for a pop. Then you’ll be ready for a night out with old friends from high school while you’re home on break.
