WHAT TO WEAR: Traveling

One of the most stressful parts about traveling is figuring out what to wear. You never really know what you’re going to be doing that day, so it is difficult to plan an outfit out. The best way to go is wear something that is neutral to every situation that may come your way and this Fashionista did just that.

A question that goes through my mind when packing is, “What will the weather be like?” The climate can be unpredictable no matter where you go, which is why it is essential to pack outfits that incorporate layers. This military-style khaki green jacket is the exact piece that can work as that extra layer. It is light enough that it is not a hassle to carry around if you take it off, but it also can keep you warm in a time of need. Another important factor for traveling is to pack neutrals and pieces that can easily mix and match with other ensembles. These black distressed jeans are my absolute favorite pair of pants right now. I personally wear mine multiples times a week because they are so versatile. Comfort is a huge consideration for travel as well and this outfit is comfy while still looking put-together and fashionable. These slip-on black quilted sneakers are also comfortable and make for a great walking shoe. With so much that cannot be predicted when traveling, you need to be prepared for all situations. This brown suede bag can probably hold everything in your dorm room. It is awesome that this bag is useful and can carry anything that you need, but it is also such a cool piece. Lastly, top every outfit off with your favorite accessories, such as these unique rings. Jewelry is an easy and small item to travel with, the options are limitless.

One Simple Change: To dress this look up for a girl’s night out on your trip, try opting for a leather jacket. It will make the look more appropriate for a night setting and will give you a more refined shape.
