WHAT TO WEAR: Tailgating

The snow is gone, the sun is shining, and it is like the heavens are opening up for all of us college students. We can finally adventure outside without having to be so bundled up you look like a marshmallow (or maybe that’s just me because I cannot handle cold weather at all), and can walk without waddling like a penguin over icy sidewalks. As baseball season is upon us, this Fashionista was seen representing some major school spirit on campus. She paired a Kent State Baseball T-shirt with distressed, light denim shorts. Paired together, it is effortlessly adorable for this warm weather. Also, her white Converse are tomboy-chic and appropriate for tailgating outside.

Being outside all day in the sun, basking in excitement for the big game, it makes sense that any fellow Fashionista/o would need to keep hydrated. This tumbler gets the job done. Not only is it cute, but it keeps your water cool. A baseball hat is also important to shade your eyes so you don’t have to squint. Instead of wearing a matching University themed hat, wear a unique one to stand out. To further spice up your outfit, wear a simple necklace, stackable bracelets and stud earrings to bring a touch of femininity to your outfit. They won’t get in your way as cook out while tailgating, and you’ll still look cute.

One Simple Change: This look can easily be brought to afternoon brunch as well. Swap out the baseball hat for a floppy hat, the sneakers for lace-up ballet flats and throw on a delicate and light cardigan over your T-shirt.
