WHAT TO WEAR: Study Group

What to Wear

With the semester coming to a close, there is only one thing on everyone’s mind: summer vacation. Alas, we must get through finals before we can enjoy any sort of fun in the sun. With finals season gracing us, there are lots of study groups to attend as well.

There is a fine line between being too dressed up for a study session and also too underdressed. You don’t want to show up in an outfit you’ll be tugging and pulling at all day, but you definitely don’t want to be caught in sweatpants either. A comfy dress and boots is the perfect way to go for hitting the books with your classmates all day. Plus you’ll also look adorable for hitting up a coffee shop or getting ice cream as a treat after for studying all day.

This Fashionista looks adorable in her baby doll dress. The floral motif is perfect for the sunny days that are finally gracing Berkeley, and her little shoes keep the look pulled together while also downplaying the girly factor of the dress. However, the best part about her look, is how ’90s inspired it is. I could totally see Drew Barymore circa ’98 rocking this look!

To give this sweet look a go, try this dress from American Apparel and these little oxford booties by Jeffery Campbell. To accessorize, try these bangles from Forever 21. If you are going to throw your hair in a high ballerina bun like our Fashionista has, go ahead and accessorize it with this adorable little garland bun ring.

One Simple Change: To take this look from the library to Sunday brunch, swap the boots for some heeled sandals, throw on a straw hat and you are good to go!
