The last few weeks of the semester are slowly approaching, which means it’s time to start getting your end of the semester grades in check too. This means an increase in the amount of sleepless students at the library and endless lines at the nearest coffee shop. When it comes to taking tests, many students find it incredibly helpful to get together in study groups to learn information and prepare. Every time I agree to meeting up with a group to study I forget that I actually have to get out of my pajamas and leave my dorm. When I spotted this Fashionista one morning on her way to the library to meet up with her study group, I was digging her library casual outfit.
When you are getting dressed to study with people the key concept is comfortability, nothing makes you less focused on school work than realizing how uncomfortable you are. I like how this Fashionista went with a pair of cropped yoga leggings, assured to be comfortable no matter if the study session is on the floor, a desk or outside. She strays away from going to the simple oversized look and goes with a fitted pastel yellow T-Shirt and slips on a striped zip-up jacket. This is much more feminine and stylish than oversized clothing that makes it look like you just rolled out of bed. To keep her outfit looking casual yet put together she braids her hair to a loose low ponytail instead of wavy unkept hair.
When it comes to accessorizing for a study group it can be difficult. Many choose to make their backpacks fun and fashionable because it’s going to be the most noticeable accessory they have on campus. This Fashionista struts around campus with this colorful, bright and fun Vera Bradley backpack—the perfect academic accessory!
One Simple Change: Slip on a pair of boat shoes instead of sandals to make it more comfortable for an early class appearance!
