As we’re finally settling into those final weeks towards the end of spring semester you can’t help but notice the imaginary, “no vacancy” sign looming over the entrance of the library. Everyone is in search of those last minute perfect test scores to bring up (or maintain) that perfect grade point average. Of course every professor and teacher assistant has their two cents on how to study for their specific course. And one of their solutions is a study group.
We all know study groups can go either one of two ways: studying hard and focusing on each key point someone has a problem on, or it can end up in an all-out-gossip-breaking-the-ice social media frenzy. Let’s be honest. It’ll more than likely end up being the later situation!
Today’s Fashionista is on the right track when it comes to what you should wear to a long study group session. Comfortable cuffed jeans are ideal for long hours of sitting down, and a light sweater will keep you warm in a cold library room and a cool South Texas evening after. No-nonsense footwear like her TOMS shoes are optimal for this sort of occasion. Less is definitely more while you’re busy flipping through pages and writing extensive notes with friends. Being as cozy as you can while you do something you’re not too fond of can be a huge help, even if you don’t know it.
So grab that cup of coffee, your textbooks and have a positive outlook on your classes. You’ve got this, Fashionistas and Fashionistos!
One Simple Change: Instead of tossing on a sweater for a cold study room, style a graphic tank perfect for a hangout after that excruciating educational session.
