WHAT TO WEAR: Study Group

What to Wear

It is officially springtime and the students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison are definitely known to capitalize on warm weather. Whether it be finding a study spot outside, soaking up the sun on Bascom Hill or going for a run outside; we makes sure to absorb every bit of Vitamin D that comes our way. However, all these new distractions can make studying an even more difficult task to complete. Stay on track with midterms and finals (despite the tantalizing weather) and get into the study spirit by taking some style pointers from this savvy Fashionisto.

Start off your study group look with the foolproof base of a button-down shirt. This Fashionisto opted for a plaid shirt that provides comfort while still offering a more put-together element than a pullover hoodie. If you find yourself in a warmer terrain than Madison, Wisconsin, simply choose a short-sleeve button-down for the same effect. Pair the shirt with a pair of dark wash slim fit denim. It can be easy to stray toward sweatpants, but try to invest in a pair of comfortable jeans for a sleeker look.

Not many accessories are needed when hitting up the library with your study clan, but the ones that you do end up sporting should compliment the rest of your getup. Divert from the Timberland boot and chose a pair of similar work boot inspired kicks that are functional yet fashionable.

Springtime means an influx of distractions from the inevitable: studying. Bite the bullet and step into study mode by following this Fashionisto’s style guidelines for an outfit that promises success.

One Simple Change: Swap the denim for a pair of slim-fit black jeans and this outfit is ready for a casual date night.
