WHAT TO WEAR: Study Group

What to Wear

We’re over halfway through the semester and for most of us we’ve made through midterms and have now graduated to the final group projects. Meeting in study can be hard enough as it is trying to work around multiple schedules. Often times this could mean having to meet up before or I’m between classes or heading to campus earlier than you’re use to.

Study groups may throw off your schedule this time of year but don’t let it compromise your wardrobe. This Fashionista is ready for any after class meeting she may have to attend.

With the weather in flux she was smart to layer light pieces into her outfit. Her denim button up top can clearly be worn alone and by far is one of my favorite kind of top, especially in this dark wash. Combined with the cream lace infinity scarf, this Fashionista can alternate with the jacket to keep warm incase the library or study rooms are a little chilly.

With spring coming our way you can expect the unexpected showers to come. By wearing lighter boots as an alternative to heavier rain boots, you can make sure your feet will stay dry—just don’t forget an umbrella!

To enhance the casual ensemble, this Fashionista added light gold jewelry that coordinated well with the cream scarf’s sparkling detail. Her simple bangle can add an everyday feminine touch to any outfit. Because of the simple design it can be combined with any additional jewelry without being overbearing.

One Simple Change: To wear this during the warmer weekends I would lose the jacket and roll the sleeves to the denim button up. To lighten the outfit even more, I would trade the black tall boots for a short brown boot like these from Cole Haan.
