I must say that I have a love/hate feeling towards study groups. I love the part where I can work my classmates and talk about assignments and test which can definitely be beneficial towards study. However, I do hate the part where we get side tracked and end up talking about the latest Kevin Hart movie or what we had for lunch that day. One thing that’s for sure is dressing the part when meeting a study group. If you plan on spending quite some time studying then its best to dress in clothing that’s flexible and cozy. I was totally inspired when I saw this Fashionista walking out of the library. Her flowy skirt, warm cardigan and simple flats were the perfect combination towards creating an outfit suitable for meeting with a study group.
What I like about wearing skirts while studying is that they are not so restricting when sitting down for a few hours. I especially love this Fashionista’s choice to go with a small floral print to add some interest to her outfit. She pulled two color choices from her skirt and paired them on top. She went with simple black tank and cozy burgundy cardigan which complement the skirt perfectly. I love how she went with a pair of black flats since walking around campus can be a little tiring. I was especially fond of her choice to accessorize with a cross-body bag. And of course a study group isn’t complete without a latte in hand.
One Simple Change: Take this outfit from a study group look to a brunch ready ensemble by switching out the flats for a great pair of wedged heels.
