WHAT TO WEAR: Study Group

What to Wear

With all the crazy winter weather that has occurred in the past couple of weeks, things have been a little hectic here at the University of Alabama. The threat of snow has caused delays, cancelations and rescheduling, causing everyone to fall out of our school habits. But the truth of the matter is classes are still a thing, assignments are still assigned and tests are still lurking in the near future. With all the interrupted class, a study group is definitely one of the most helpful tools in keeping up in school.

I spotted this Fashionista sporting an outfit that is perfect for meeting a group at the library or Starbucks. Her outfit is stylish and cute, yet comfortable enough to be able to stand sitting at a table, leaning over books for a couple of hours. She pairs a blue button-down with leggings. What may seem like a simple outfit becomes even cuter with her blue socks that match the button-down. She finishes the look with a pair of boots.

For her accessories, the Fashionista throws a pretty scarf over her outfit. Scarves are great since they automatically add more to any outfit. For her accessories, she wears a gold watch which is great for studying so you can keep time without the temptation of grabbing your phone. On her other arm, she wears a wrist full of different types of bracelets, which add to the outfit also. All in all, this Fashionista is comfy, styled and ready for a day of studying.

One Simple Change: It really is amazing how heels can change an outfit. If you want a comfortable, but more professional look, such as for an internship or job, switch out the leggings for a pair of dark jeans and put on a pair of heels. Instantly dressier.
