WHAT TO WEAR: Staying Warm During the Cold College Months

January 25th, 2017 at 2:00am

Attending school in Texas, the weather can be unpredictable especially if you go to a school up North, like at the University of North Texas. Some days you could be baking in a furnace, and other days, you just might have the front row seat in an ice box. Since it is currently winter time, this Fashionisto has a look that might save you from being frost bitten.

Mama always told us not to leave the house without a jacket, right? Well, this Fashionisto surely made the cut. In this look, our Fashionisto has on a thick hoodie underneath his bad-boy leather jacket. If that wasn’t enough to keep you warm, our Fashionisto also has some faux fur on the inside to keep things heated up. Then, adding even more flare, he is rocking a pair of distressed denim jeans with some classic Converse sneakers. To keep his head warmed up and ready for class, he replaced the Old Faithful beanie with a fitted Nike baseball cap. As if he wasn’t already charming enough, he added a small touch of beaded bracelets to complement his look. The quote, “Where there’s a will, there’s a way” on his bracelet is not only a great reminder for us college students, but also to anyone who wants to use their creativity to explore new ventures.

It can be hard to be motivated to wear anything but your pajamas on campus during the winter, but with these effortless pieces, you can warm up the buns while serving up the looks. Instead of walking out of your dorm dressed in the same old university hoodie and sweats during the winter time, you can layer up some cold fashion pieces and make one hot statement.
