WHAT TO WEAR: Spring Neutrals

A new season means a new reason to refresh our wardrobes. Out with the dark and drab colors and in with the fresh, bright hues. With summer on the horizon and exam season clouding our minds, choosing a few spring neutrals to elevate any look this season is a no-brainer. That’s exactly what this Fashionista did and we’re definitely getting in the spring and summer mood with this outfit.

Her look started with a crisp, white collared shirt, a staple in many Fashionista’s wardrobes. To mix it up a bit from the standard white button-down, her shirt has a flowy criss-cross detail that hides the buttons underneath. She also rolled up the long sleeves to elbow-length, keeping it perfect for whatever the weather has in store.

Though the buttons are hidden on her top, they are a main feature on her denim miniskirt. This is another classic piece that is very on-trend at the moment. Opting for a skirt over jeans or shorts also makes the outfit slightly more girly and light for the spring.

To break up the neutral colors (yes, I would consider denim a neutral) she pairs a gorgeous pair of rose-colored sneakers to the ensemble. The shoes also throw another texture into the mix, with a velvet exterior and satin laces.

Lastly, this Fashionista is serving major Coachella vibes with these round sunglasses. Fun sunglasses are very popular right now and  accessories are an easy way to add flair to any classic look. Designer sunglasses can get pretty expensive, but adding accessories like these doesn’t have to break the bank—especially if you pick up an affordable pair from H&M or Forever 21 like this Fashionista did.

This look is professional enough to wear to class or work, but stylish enough to wear to out on the town or for lunch with the girls. Basically, you can’t go wrong with chic neutrals to give your everyday style an upgrade.
