WHAT TO WEAR: Spring Break

What to Wear

The week every Fashionista/o has been so anxiously awaiting is finally here. With a few days off from classes, spring break can be a time to travel, catch up with old friends or just relax on the couch in front of the TV for hours on end. Regardless of your spring vacation plans, looking stylish should always be your top priority.

Pictured is a Fashionisto who makes stylish look effortless. By pairing a simple T-shirt with classic Levi Brand Jeans and adding a few unique accent pieces, he made an incomparable statement. From the cuffs at his ankles to the bright red color of his top, this look definitely stood out to me.

The latest craze in men’s fashion this season is the obsession over graphics. Because they can be paired easily with any style bottom, graphic T-shirts are versatile must-haves for college Fashionistos. The featured Fashionisto sported a bright red T-shirt with a blue and white graphic, custom-made by Family First Clothing Co. The company designed red, white and blue T-shirts specifically for UD students. Visit the Family First website to browse the company’s selection of graphic apparel.

The way this Fashionisto was able to transform an everyday outfit into more than just the average jeans and T-shirt combo is stunning. By simply folding up the bottoms of his Levi Brand Jeans, he added a carefree edge to his overall look. With cuffs at his ankles, this allowed him to show off his black and blue Nike Air Jordan sneakers. The blue and white on his kicks complement the graphic on his T-shirt. He showcased his love for his hometown by throwing on a black Cleveland Indians fitted cap, complementing his shoes, and the red Indian logo matching perfectly with his T-shirt. The strand of wooden beads around his neck adds a distinctive contrast, and his black rubber wristband paired with his white G-shock watch creates the perfect duo for a relaxed spring break feel. He finishes off his look with a pair of trendy black lens aviators to fend off those harmful springtime rays.

No matter how you decide to spend your time off Fashionistos, remember that style is not an option, it’s a requirement. Just because you have a break from papers and tests, doesn’t mean you should take a break from looking your absolute best! Try improving your own standard T-shirt and jeans look, like this week’s Fashionisto.

One Simple Change: Opt for a Family First hoodie instead of the T-shirt to stay warm for a night out with friends.
