WHAT TO WEAR: Spring Break

From the Editor, What to Wear

Believe it or not, spring break is right around the corner (thank goodness). While some of you may be flying away to Mexico, Miami or the Bahamas for a week of sun, sand and debauchery, not everyone will spending their spring break in warm weather. Some Fashionistas and Fashionistos, inspired by the Winter Olympics, choose to spend their spring break hitting the slopes (or strictly enjoying the lodge) in cities like Aspen and Park City.

This Fashionista is ready to get her “snow bunny” on this spring break. This Fashionista’s accessories are perfect for the cold weather. Her wide brim hat is the great alternative to the traditional beanie. It has a Western vibe to it while still remaining modern and chic. Her fur collar is definitely a must to staying warm way up in the mountains. The gorgeous oxblood color is the perfect pop and complement to the ensemble.

But the real showstopper of this Fashionista’s outfit is her jumpsuit. The jumpsuit is a major trend for spring. And while most Fashionista’s are reserving this look for warmer weather, this Fashionista is staying ahead of the trend by incorporating it into her cold weather spring break look. The pale pink and black print has a feminine yet vintage feel to it and only further enhances the ’70s, retro vibe of the jumpsuit itself. To keep the jumpsuit from looking out of place on the slopes, this Fashionista made it weather appropriate by pairing it with a leather jacket and boots.

So whether you are going to Cabo or Colorado this spring break, find a look that is sure to get you noticed, like this Fashionista did.

One Simple Change: SXSW and Coachella are right around the corner. By swapping out the boots for a pair of gladiator sandals, this look would be perfect for soaking up some tunes this festival season.
