WHAT TO WEAR: Spring

Springtime weather is always very unpredictable. It can be warm and sunny one day and cold and rainy the next. Even though most of our wardrobes have transitioned into spring and summer pieces, it is still important to keep a few outfits for those colder days. In order to keep warmer clothing at a minimum, layering is key. Pairing lightweight long sleeve or short sleeve tops with a thin cardigan is a great transitional outfit for this season.

This Fashionista has on a lightweight burgundy button-down blouse paired with a thin black cardigan. Mornings during the spring can be quite cold, so throwing on a lightweight cardigan is an easy and quick way to keep warm. This button-down blouse is enough to keep warm on a cold day, but it is also thin enough to wear on a sunny day.

Even though we have our sandals and wedges out for the spring and summer, it is always a good idea to keep a pair of ankle boots, rain boots, or sneakers on hand. There is nothing worse than walking through campus with sandals when it is raining outside! This Fashionista has on a pair of brown ankle boots that are not only cute but comfortable for those rainy spring days.

One Simple Change: Switching out the classic blue denim jeans for a pair of crisp white jeans can instantly brighten up the whole look. White jeans are a great staple for the spring and summer seasons and can be worn with a variety of different outfits.
