WHAT TO WEAR: Spring

March 31st, 2016 at 2:00am

It’s always a sad day when you come back from Spring Break, and the weather on campus is cold and rainy. It can definitely be a struggle to try to figure out what to wear in the morning when you look out the window and all you see is gray fog. However, there’s no reason to let the dreary atmosphere keep you from waking up in the morning and throwing on your favorite outfit.

This Fashionista was clearly inspired by the cloudy sky, as she looked like she walked straight out of a J.Crew catalog with her monochromatic look. She is able to mix it up by rolling up her cords to show off some cute printed socks. A smart way to stay warm without overheating during this fickle-weather season is to layer a cute vest over a button-down. This Fashionista goes norm-core by choosing a color palette to match the foggy outdoors, with her gray puffer vest and blue chambray button-down. Taking a step away from the tried and true blue jean, she goes for a pair of dyed corduroys to add some texture to her ensemble. Layering a necklace over her collar and adding a slim leather watch helps play up her take on an über classic look.

One Simple Change: To wear this look on a day that’s 10 degrees warmer, just roll up the sleeves, switch out the pants for a blue a-line skirt and ditch the boots for a pair of sandals. With the sun soon to be shining, don’t forget to protect your vision with a pair of cute sunnies like these.
