Everyone loves a little (well, a lot) of retail therapy. Shopping gives you a really good feeling, but we all have those days when we’re not really feeling up to par with the wardrobe we already have. So what do you do? You go and buy more clothes and look your best while buying them! I say this because if you don’t look your best while shopping, you won’t be as enthusiastic to actually go out and buy something you really like or want. A classic quote that I always go by: “If you look good, you’ll feel good. And if you feel good, you’ll sell good.” But in this case, you’ll buy.
I spotted this Fashionista walking and shopping with her mother down the Delmar Loop strip in St. Louis. She’s wearing a white long sleeve T-shirt with a red tank top underneath it, black and white (and comfortable too!) polka-dot shorts and tan lace up boots with sheer knee-highs, all purchased from Forever 21. Her very trendy accessories included cute and colorful skull and beaded bracelets and a orange and tan fringe shoulder bag from the Earthbound Trading Company. Her hair was neatly cut, curled and colored. She also had on heavy mascara and pink blush for her cheeks. She looked like a cute, modern day doll.
She could’ve easily just thrown on a T-shirt and a pair of leggings, but she didn’t. She made a statement and let her individuality shine through her wardrobe. She looked as if she was ready to do some damage and with an outfit like that, I know the future purchases this Fashionista makes will be good ones.
One Simple Change: If you wanted to make this look a little more chic for a casual date night, lose the knee-highs and boots and go for a pair of sexy ankle strap heels.
