Nothing makes me lazier than a rainy day, and I know many others feel the same way. After you look out the window and see overcast skies and puddles on the ground, leaving your bed and changing out of your pajamas is the last thing you want to do. In my opinion, rainy days are one exception to putting maximum effort into your outfit, especially if you’re going to be sitting in class or studying in the library all day. However, it is still possible to pull together a casual outfit to make it through a gloomy day.
I ran into this Fashionista as she was leaving the library. She’s dressed perfectly for the drizzling weather in a hat, long sleeve shirt, leggings and rain boots. Ladies, let’s face it, no matter how hard you try, when it rains your hair is probably going to be destroyed by the time you make it anywhere. If you’re going for a more casual look, a perfect solution is a baseball cap. This Fashionista is sporting a pink one from Ralph Lauren; however, you can customize your own Ralph Lauren cap here.
This Fashionista is wearing a long sleeve shirt that she got as a souvenir from her spring break trip, but this is also a great opportunity to wear school spirit wear. She was also carrying a rain jacket from The North Face, just in case the rain picked up. This specific one comes in so many different colors that will brighten up your outfit on a rainy day.
For me, the only good thing about rain is having an excuse to wear rain boots. This Fashionista is wearing Hunter Boots, which also come in a variety of colors and styles.
One Simple Change: If it’s really pouring or a rain jacket isn’t enough coverage for you, carry around a cute umbrella. I’m personally in love with this bulldog umbrella from The San Francisco Umbrella Company. What better way to show Butler Bulldog spirit on a rainy day than with a bulldog umbrella?
