WHAT TO WEAR: Presentation

“You only get one chance to make a first impression”, is an old adage that has been proven time and time again. When making a presentation for a business or a class, it is important to look professional and clean. Appearance itself is actually half of the presentation.

This Fashionista knows how important it is to make a fashion statement and get down to business. She decided to pair black dress slacks, a classic look, with a printed shell. People often say that business attire should remain monochromatic and very basic. That is a myth. Adding a splash of color or print to your business attire makes it less boring and more personal to who you are. The tank top is really a bold statement and is totally a good idea.

The low black heels were a nice move too. The shoes are low enough to be comfortable and high enough to say, “I’m a girl who means business.” When you are presenting an idea to a group of people, chances are, you’ll be standing directly in front of them. meaning that you don’t want to be too distracting, but you definitely want to hold their attention. This outfit definitely gives a new meaning to the phrase, “putting in work.”

One Simple Change: This look can certainly be transformed into a celebration outfit, you know after you have absolutely dazzled your co-workers and peers. By adding a bodycon skirt and a pair of higher heels this business outfit can easily shift from zero to 100 real quick.
