WHAT TO WEAR: Presentation

April 29th, 2015 at 2:10am

As the semester coming to an end soon, group projects, exams and presentations are taking over students’ lives. When it comes to fashion during exams and all-nighters, it’s very hard to keep your outfits on point. Your favorite thin sweater and cup of coffee become your best friends during all those evenings spent reading and writing.

When you are done researching and putting everything together, it’s time for your presentation. I don’t know how shy you are when it comes to public speaking, but let me assure you that a cute and comfortable look can make a big difference. Something about putting a blazer on makes you feel so much more confident and professional.

Since presentations often don’t require a strict business look, you can often get away with a casual jean jacket, like the one this Fashionista is wearing. A patterned summer dress will put a smile on our face and will get you at least a dozen compliments. Nude flats are a perfect substitute for heels. They can be both casual and formal and go with any outfit. So if you have trouble picking out a go-to pair of shoes for this spring/summer, consider getting nude flats. A sleek bun adds professionalism to your look and dangle earrings are fun but not overwhelming. Accessorize with a couple of simple bracelets to complete this ensemble.

One Simple Change: This look can be easily suited for weekend wear. Just take the jacket off, and curl your hair instead. Throw on a pair of sunglasses, and you are ready to enjoy your weekend with friends and family.
