WHAT TO WEAR: Presentation

April 10th, 2015 at 2:00am

It’s becoming that time of the semester where it feels like all of the professors got together and decided to schedule every test and presentation on the exact same day. With the weather finally starting to warm up, it can be hard to stay focused in the classroom. Some of the best advice i’ve ever gotten said, “If you dress well, you test well.” Or in this case, present well! Our outfits really do have the ability to put us in a better mood, and ultimately have a great day of presentations.

This week’s Fashionista shows us a great way of mixing spring colors into her outfit while still looking professional for her presentation. While the typical presentation ensemble involves plain and dreary pencil skirts, this Fashionista adds a fun pop of purple instead. The lace overlay gives the outfit a feminine vibe, while still looking put together. Paired with a classic white shirt and nude flats, this outfit is sure to grab the attention of the entire class. This Fashionista kept her jewelry simple with some dainty, silver accessories.

Lace pencil skirts are a great addition to your wardrobe, because they are a perfect way to stay professional while adding a fun statement piece to your outfit. These skirts are really versatile and can be casual with a plain T-shirt, or even dressed up by adding a blazer and heels.

One Simple Change: The presentation went well—now what? Swap your casual shirt for a flirty tank top, add some wedges and you’re ready to go and get some celebratory drinks!
