There is nothing better than meeting up with old high school friends after a busy week. We all reminisce about the “old days” and subsequently wonder where all the time has gone. The best part is that we get to see how everyone has evolved, what everyone has accomplished and, most importantly, how they are dressing.
When the winds of Mumbai are on a run, all you can wish for in the morning is to spot an outfit that is neither too short nor too warm. However, I spotted this Fashionista in almost the perfect attire for the weather and the fashion demands. She is dressed for a lunch, a BBQ or a fun day of activities that includes, say, a café hangout with her girlfriends.
No matter what you wear and how much you like to pile things on, simplicity with a little style is the secret! As I mentioned earlier, style is not what you make yourself look like in the crowd; it is what makes you look “you” in the crowd. This Fashionista definitely scores a 10 out of 10.
She chose a sophisticated look to make a great first impression with limited pieces to worry about. She flaunts a muted tea rose full sleeve knit top from Vero Moda with a pair of blue-gray linen palazzos. The illustrated bag accentuates the look with a pop. While I love her peppy bag, the muted contrast of her lace-up caramel moccasins infuses a tad of color into the look as well.
Finally, her pair of eyeglasses add a little bit of a trendy, nerdy zing. They make for an extra touch of spunkiness!
One Simple Change: To make the outfit even more chic than it already is, fancy it up a bit! If this Fashionista tied her hair back or put it up in a sock bun, the weather would not be a bother. Also try adding a little accessory like a statement neck piece, a belt or a watch to spice things up!
