It’s official: summer is coming to an end and a new school year is upon us. At this moment, students all over the country are wiping dust off of overpriced textbooks in preparation for the fall semester. Sure, I’ll miss my mom’s home cooked meals and the comfort of my bed, but at this point, I’m ready to return to the college lifestyle I became so accustomed to. However, before I leave, there is one item on my to-do list that takes precedent over all others: spending quality time with my friends. After all, they were the people that I was most excited to come home to and are definitely the ones that I’m most sad to leave.
This Fashionista chose to spend her last few outings with her friends in style. She dons a simple black T-shirt with chiffon shoulder panels, light wash destroyed denim shorts and studded black combat boots that are to die for. A piece of advice: you do not want to mess with a girl whose shoes could double as a weapon.
Upon taking a closer look at the components of this ensemble, I began to notice that her accessories were not just thrown on at random. Her silver and gold braided headband acts as the central piece that all of her other accessories complement. This Fashionista’s boho turned rocker two-toned headband allows the gold bangles and gold frames of her classic Ray-Ban aviators to not clash with the silver studs of her biker boots. This downtown-inspired outfit truly is farewell fashion done right.
One Simple Change: If cold weather comes your way, throw on a motorcycle jacket to maintain this edgy getup in cooler temperatures. Nothing screams biker chic more than a trendy leather jacket!
