Summer is slowly coming to an end. School is starting up again, and we will be forced to separate from childhood friends for the time being, making now the perfect time to catch up and reminisce. There is nothing like having a late lunch and walking down the boardwalk before our summer days are over.
While doing just that, I spotted this Fashionista! She was wearing blue shorts, a black peplum tank top, a gray cardigan, ballet flats, sunglasses and jewelry. I loved the simple shorts with the peplum top that added a nice flair. The flats were a nice classic change from the ever-present flip flops and sandals seen all over the boardwalk. Despite it being summer, the wind was rather chilly, especially near the water. The cardigan was a smart way to keep warm but not overheated as the sun started setting. Her two-toned Michael Kors watch added more class while the stone necklace, bangle, beaded bracelet, rings and lokai bracelet added personality. I loved the outfit because it stood out; she made it her own and she was comfortable.
One Simple Change: She already had the right idea for transitioning from day to night. To make this outfit appropriate for a casual date night, simply add a clutch to store your phone, some cash and extra lipgloss or ChapStick to keep those lips luscious and hydrated! The blue, black and gray color scheme is appropriate for any casual date idea while the shorts are long enough to stay modest.
