The Plaza of the Americas is the perfect place to show off a great outfit. It is always packed with people heading to class, Library West or, more likely, Starbucks. Around lunchtime, students take over the lawn to table for clubs, eat food with friends and show off their awesome outfits.
This Fashionista nailed the perfect on the quad outfit with a classic crop top and easy shorts. She, like other Fashionistas and Fashionistos, had my heart at the black and white combo. These are my favorite two colors to wear so I’m always interested in learning how to put a modern spin on a dependable classic. This Fashionista started off with a simple black crop top. The top’s super high neckline means it definitely won’t be mistaken for underwear, unlike some other tiny tops I’ve seen.
She then kept it comfy with airy printed shorts. I love the simple color scheme but the animal like print keeps it modern and interesting. They are perfect for lounging on the ground or walking to class. This Fashionista added her last piece of black with edgy lace-up booties. This is the perfect solution for Fashionistas who are missing the fall weather fashion. Pair your favorite booties with fun new shorts! These lace-up booties have a warm weather twist with a cool peep-toe. She finished the outfit off with heart rimmed shades.
One Simple Change: The quad is the daytime place to be spotted in a stylish new outfit but true UF fashion comes out to play at night. Make this outfit weekend ready by ditching the shorts for a printed maxi skirt. Add some color with a bold red lipstick and a gold shade of eyeshadow.
