I know that once you enter into college, everyone is just over the thought of dressing up for school. This is even more apparent during the summer. With everything else being a focus such as early summer classes or the hassle of registration, the concern of how you look easily goes out of the window. What I like about my school is that the campus is centrally located downtown and with the mix of students and stylish explorers, it is easy to find great style on campus even out of school.
I found this urban inspired Fashionista as she made her commute to campus. I loved this look for multiple reasons; one being her execution of layering, two, the front paneled leather leggings and three, her boldness and disregard for “fashion rules” by pairing blue and black together. I think this style was put together perfectly and her additives add great personality to her look. The all black high-top wedge Converse sneakers show her awareness of trends and the black and white bandana takes this urban look to the next level.
This look is a great example of campus style. Leggings are always an easy choice for comfort and a sweater is great for those cold lecture classrooms (and an extra hoodie just in case would not hurt).
One Simple Change: For warmer weather, switch out the sweater for a short sleeved graphic tee and instead of high-top sneakers, go for a more comfortable canvas shoe or loafer. Remove the hoodie and you have an outfit perfect for an on-the-go day.
