Now that the weather is (finally) warming up for good, it’s time to pull out those maxi dresses and skirts ladies! Spring time is all about feeling good—and looking even better—and this Fashionista showed me just how to do that.
It has been a long winter of hibernation resulting in dark, obsolete colors but, fear not! It is time for us to bring those bright colors and patterns from the back of our closets to the front. This Fashionista’s look is one that is sure to put a spring in your step (pun intended) and keep you feel fresh all day long. Maxi anythings are very trendy these days so, try and find either a skirt or dress that you like in a catchy print—stripes work well. This will serve as your outfit’s stand out piece. The rest of the outfit should complement the dress or skirt and not clash with it. Any tank top or T-shirt in a plain color is a good choice for a top. Add a jean jacket or vest to spice things up! To finish everything off, slip on your favorite sandals and a gold or silver necklace. Keep any jewelry simple and refined so as to avoid any clashing. You certainly want to stay shaded on these hot days so, don’t forget your shades before you walk out the door in the morning. This Fashionista is rocking a pair of her favorite Ray-Bans but, there are so many options out there—try to find a pair of polarized ones to keep your eyes protected.
The start of a new semester AND a new season (hello new wardrobe) can be very overwhelming but, with outfits such as this one your style is sure to be cool and collected. Spring has sprung, so get out there gals!
One Simple Change: Stressing over a big presentation? Don’t sweat it—you can easily swap out your jean jacket for a simple boyfriend blazer that coordinates with the colors in your maxi dress or skirt. You will be one stylish presenter, guaranteed.
