Though I like to think there are no rules when it comes to fashion, that isn’t always the case. The one rule I personally believe in is that you should always dress in a way that shows off your own personality and style. Learning what you feel good in and what works on your body is the first step. Don’t worry if you are still searching for your own style. Keep at it, and it will come to you. (And remember that your style may evolve over the years.) I describe my personal style as “flirty chic,” and I show my personality and style off through blazers, skinnies and eye-popping jewelry. No matter where you are, whether it’s on or off campus, your OOTD should always showcase who you are.
This week I captured a stylish Fashionista who showed particular flair for my number one fashion rule. Her personality shined through and was enhanced by what she was wearing. Through her clothes she not only stood out among the crowd, but she also carried an air of confidence in her steps that represented ultra coolness. From a long-sleeved black crop top to printed plaid shorts and Dr. Martens, her outfit was complete and expressed a subtle edginess. This Fashionista is the prefect example of how to dress when hanging out about around campus and on the quad. So learn from this Fashionista and how easy she makes it with just three pieces that create the ultimate fun and bold. You’ll be the best dressed on campus for sure.
