Yikes, it is the middle of the semester and that can only mean one thing, midterms. This time of the year comes with lots of coffee, library visits and stress. Just because it is midterm week does not mean that you need to throw your fashion to the wayside. Besides, someone once told me that if you feel good (look good = feel good) you will do better on your exams.
So put down your pen and paper and study your closet for two minutes. Put together an awesome outfit the day of your midterm so you are feeling your best!
This midterm week this Fashionista picked out the perfect outfit. If you have not already noticed I am a huge fan of colored skinny jeans. So naturally this outfit really stood out to me when I saw those bright green jeans. I love that she paired a simply patterned button-down with them too. On top of it, the button-down is a soft tint of blue, which is a nice change from the typical colored jeans and white tee look. I really enjoy the polka-dots on the button down; I think they add a whole other dimension on top of the green. I am all for different layers and dimensions in outfits, it really makes them interesting and unique.
I really like that this look is paired with a pair of simple riding boots. I feel like you cannot go wrong when you wear them with your outfit. She is also rocking a cute side braid, which makes the outfit charming and more casual. It is also great because it will keep her hair out of her face during those exams (which by the way, is really annoying).
This Fashionista is looking good on her midterm day, and I am sure feeling good too because of it. She is sure to ace all of her exams! To master this perfect midterm day look, pick your favorite bottoms, whether they are jeans or printed leggings. Next, pick a comfy top that makes you feel good. For me, I would choose a plain T-shirt and then match it up with an exciting scarf. Make sure you do not forget to bring your favorite tote to hold all of your school and study supplies.
For midterms, I say just pick anything that makes you feel your best, and you will be sure to ace them all!
One Simple Change: Instead of a button-down try wearing a peplum style top, and you have a great look to wear to brunch.
