You have a big test coming up and it’s time to hit the books. The library is known to be a mundane, uninspired study destination, so what better way to spice up the experience than bringing a little fashion into the study mix? This Fashionisto used one of my personal favorites, color, to add a little pop to his library excursion.
Today’s Fashionisto is wearing J.Crew chinos is a rusty brick color. He paired this with a white button-down collared shirt and a jean jacket. For a little extra style and warmth, he finished it with a colored scarf from H&M. This Fashionisto’s use of color caught my eye. It was one of the coldest days of winter when most people would back off from color and opt for the dreary articles of clothing in their wardrobe, but there is no better time to rock the brights, adding a little happiness to everyone’s day. Aside from the colorful pants the rest of the outfit remains neutral allowing the rusty brick to steal the show.
One Simple Change: The beauty of colored pants is that most of them can be worn all year round. Once spring FINALLY rolls around, this Fashionisto is good to go. Chinos are great for a classic preppy look especially when worn with a white button-down collared shirt. To transition from seasons simply roll the sleeves and keep the shirt untucked. Lose the scarf and the jean jacket can be an option if it’s an exceptionally chilly day. To complete this spring ensemble sport boating shoes, such as Sperry Top-Siders, and you are ready for spring break. Only one problem, Mother Nature isn’t quite there.
