The school year is now in full swing and that means piles of homework and major study sessions. It seems no matter how much planning I do, I always end up cramming in the library the night before an exam. The key to pulling that all-nighter, camped out in a cubicle, is being comfortable. But, comfortable doesn’t just have to be the typical sweatpants and sweatshirt uniform. Obviously, the library isn’t the place where style takes top priority, but there are definitely ways to be cute and comfortable. When I spotted this Fashionista on her way to a study session, I knew she nailed it!
Nothing feels more quintessentially college than fall colors and chunky knit scarves. I love how this this Fashionista’s outfit is simple and perfect for studying, but still makes a statement. In my opinion, you can never go wrong with a simple gray cardigan. Paired with a white tank and classic black leggings, this look is comfortable and perfect for a night of studying at the library. But, what I love most about this Fashionista’s outfit is her accessories. Her orange and white infinity scarf is perfect for those cool afternoons on campus, and her lace up combat boots are a great way to finish off her look.
This Fashionista definitely knows how to make a statement. However, she also knows how to keep it casual and cute all while slaving away at the library. I would best describe her look as study-chic, and I think we can all take a page out of her style textbook. When dressing for a night to be spent in between the stacks, be comfortable, but don’t sacrifice your personal style.
One Simple Change: This look is great for a night to be spent studying, but swap the leggings for a pair of skinny jeans and this outfit is perfect for an afternoon out with friends.
