WHAT TO WEAR: Library

At this point in the year, all of us are thirsting for the warm summer days where we lay out by the pool without a care in the world. Spring break teased us with sunny skies and homework-free nights, and with only a couple months left of the semester, it can be easy to lose momentum in our studies. Though some of us may rather hit the frats and party scene, it’s important to remember we should also be hitting the books—cue the sad violin music. When planning a hot date with the library, it is key to wear something comfortable but still dressed up enough so we can continue to have lives when the textbooks are closed.

This Fashionista takes inspiration from athleisure and pairs her comfy “Uh Huh Honey” sweatshirt and ripped leggings with lace detail with black kicks to give the look a fresh take. She adds a flannel shirt to her waist, which is equal parts fashionable and functional for those chilly study rooms in the library. This look pays homage to many grunge loving ’90s outfits but adds a feminine touch with the tassel statement necklace. The Chicago native finishes off the look with a Blackhawks baseball cap and a Coach backpack that is perfect for trekking around campus with.

One Simple Change: Just finished studying for your three exams and two quizzes and want to grab dinner with your friends? Try switching out your adidas for a pair of lace-up ballet flats and throwing your hair up in a chic top-knot to take your ensemble from carefree to dressy-casual.
