WHAT TO WEAR: Library

October 1st, 2015 at 2:00am

About one month into school is when this thought hits most students; “Oh, I am here for an education not just for fun.” When this realization happens, most people’s next stop is the library. Except for most schools, especially mine, the library is not only a place to cram for an exam, but it is a social scene. On any given Sunday, it is guaranteed that you will see at least nine people you know at the library. That being said, you do not want to show up looking like a complete mess.

This outfit is ideal for the library because it is the perfect mix of comfy and cute. The sweater is oversized which makes for a cozy layer to wear when the air conditioner is on full blast. These shorts are from Lou & Grey and are perfect for sitting long, tedious hours in one chair because they are so loose and soft! The drawstring on the shorts is the key to comfort in comparison to other shorts full of buttons and zippers. These Via Spiga slip-ons bring all the neutral colors of this whole outfit together. Not only are they easy to get on and off, but also for the walk to the library they have more support than sandals because of the thicker sole. Not only are these shoes adorable, but also practical for what they are being used for. Going to the library does not have to be drab, in fact in can be quite fashionable.

One Simple Change: Are you going somewhere after the library? Simply put a cute plain cream or white tank top half tucked on underneath the sweater and just like that a new outfit is created. That way you can head straight from the library out to dinner with friends to debrief from a long afternoon studying.
