WHAT TO WEAR: Library

When I walk into the library I often see people wearing sweatshirts, leggings, flip flops or sweatpants. I see this more often at nighttime as people plan to be hanging in the library for multiple hours. Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a cute outfit you could wear all throughout the day without changing, while still fitting for the library?

One of the great things about college is that your closet is accessible all throughout the day. If you spill coffee on your white shirt you can run back to your dorm and change. Frequently, I will wear one outfit to my 8:00 a.m. class, decide I am bored and swap it for something completely different before my next class. With an outfit like this Fashionista’s, you can keep yourself in the same clothes for the entire day.

This Fashionista’s outfit is one that can be worn all day and works perfectly for everything you have to do from morning to night. First to class, then to lunch with friends, back to class, to a club meeting, to a group project meeting and finally to the library.

This Fashionista is wearing a great pair of olive green pants with zippers going up the back of her leg up to her knee. They are slightly cropped to the point where they show a touch of skin and accentuate her short black booties. I also love that these mildly loud pants are paired with a black top and black booties because it tones them down a bit. Her bag is the perfect size to fit notebooks, a laptop and anything else needed for the day. This outfit is great for ending the day in the library because it is comfortable and cute, and shows that you put effort into your outfit and were active throughout your day!

One Simple Change: To give this look an even more casual feel for class, swap the sweater for a graphic T-shirt and add an oversized flannel.
