What to Wear

Just because it’s past mid-semester doesn’t mean you should start slacking on your homework. There is only about a month and a half of school left so we should push ourselves to go to the library. Spending 12+ hours at the library doesn’t mean we have to stay in our lounge clothes. I know the weather has been a drag here in Wisconsin, but you don’t have to stick to your sweats.

This Fashionista caught my eye where her beautiful ensemble. Her simple messenger bag stole my heart, with the taste of classic and chic. A messenger bag can come in handy when studying and checking out books from the library. As seen in Valentino’s spring/summer man bag collection, the messenger is shown in variety of colors and styles.

In addition to her wonderful library ensemble, she is wearing a wrap-styled blouse with button-detail at the shoulders. The blouse is very feminine and plays a vital role in the new soft-silhouette trend. It’s simple yet it flows and is light. Wearing a pair of burgundy harem ankle pants, it can dress up or down the outfit. Harem pants can be very casual or dressy like this Fashionista’s. Lastly, throw on a pair of sneakers to keep the look casual. These shoes well help you look great and feel comfortable while studying or carrying off those heavy books in your bag.

One Simple Change: I would add a either a printed scarf or a statement necklace to help emphasize and focus on my face. Then I would replace the messenger bag with a simple clutch wallet. Finishing off the look by, switching out the sneakers for a pair of nude sandal heels. You’ll be ready to have a wonderful date night with your friends.
