As much as I hate the cold, I have to admit it has been nice to have a couple of snow days these past few weeks. I know it may sound ambitious, but these days off have been the perfect excuse to head to the library to catch up on some late homework assignments.
This Fashionista had the same idea as she heads to the library on her day off. There are many things to admire about such dedication. The fact that she left her dorm to brave this weather is praiseworthy enough, but that she dressed up gives her major bonus points in my book.
To spend her day at the library, this Fashionista decided to wear a pair of classic blue jeans with a black Piko long sleeve top. This outfit on its own would have been acceptable for a day of studying, but instead she decided to take her look a step further. On top of her long sleeve shirt she sports a denim vest. I think that the vest makes her ensemble more dynamic, but I also like that she broke the stigma that denim vests are only worn in warmer seasons.
She completes her look with a gray wool coat and black rain boots to keep her warm on the walk there. I think it is admirable that this Fashionista not only went to the library on her day off but also did not let her outfit suffer because of the weather.
One Simple Change: Denim vests are great for all seasons. When South Carolina finally decides to warm up, pair this denim vest with a maxi dress for the perfect outfit for class.
