The best part of heading back to campus for me is not just seeing my friends or starting classes, it’s seeing the new outfits everyone comes back with!
Fall fashion is a favorite for me because it’s a nice change from summer and it is not as cold as winter.
This Fashionista had the perfect outfit for back to school. It’s fun, different and good for Rhode Island’s current muggy air. However, the outfit is also comfortable and stylish. This Fashionista had a main focal point of her look which was the jumpsuit overalls and then she built the rest of her outfit from that.
The jumpsuit is a deep maroon color which channels the fall season but the shorts keep it fresh and cool for summer. She put a black crop top underneath it which adds a cutout on the side. She kept it casual with her Nike sneakers and that element really made me drawn to her style. She added a couple rings, necklaces and one bracelet to tie the entire look together.
It was a humid day here in Rhode Island so this look is perfect for someone who is running around campus to their first classes of the semester. This look also shows that this Fashionista has some serious style and is ready to take on any event that comes her way this semester.
Wondering how to still wear this outfit in a couple weeks when the temperature drops? Swap the crop top out for a mock neck, long sleeve black shirt and throw a moto jacket on top of it. Switch the sneakers out for for some black booties and you’re on your way to a night out, a casual dinner or even a night class.
