WHAT TO WEAR: Interviews

Remember those summer trips to the pool with our camp group, joining summer league sports and riding bikes until sunset? Well, those carefree days are long over, my friends. As I approach my senior year of college this fall, I know how important it is to be on top of my game. This includes maintaining a well-rounded résumé and knowing how to knock it out of the (fashion) park when it comes to interviews. If you are wearing an outfit you feel comfortable and chic in, you will radiate confidence and bring in positive energy during your time with a potential employer.

This Fashionista nailed the perfect interview outfit. While it is important to look put together for any job interview, when you begin interviewing after graduation, you need to step up your sartorial choices.

The classic rules will always apply to interview outfits. No extremely bright colors, distracting makeup or uncomfortably high heels are a few of the rules that will always apply. However, it is also important to stay true to yourself and show a bit of spunk with accessories and clean, sharp details in your clothing. This Fashionista kept her look simple with a sage duster coat, black trousers and a pair of lace-up heels. She spiced up her look with the addition of personalized Alex and Ani bracelets and a black leather bag with gold accents.

Picking out the outfit for a big interview can be slightly intimidating. However, take cue from this Fashionista and you will nail your dream job with confidence!

One Simple Change: Heading out to celebrate after you rock your interview? Of course! Simply replace the trousers with a pair of skinny jeans and slip on a pair of ankle boots. You’ll be ready to celebrate your successful day.
