Twinterns! Double the trouble, twice the trend.
In New York City, you don’t have to look very far for Fashionistas. Example A and B: on the first day of my own internship, I met these two lovely identical twins interning for the same company! These Fashionistas have a completely different style from the other, but both pull off the styles they’re going for with ease. Looking fashionable and presentable in the summer heat is always a challenge, but these Fashionistas pulled it off flawlessly.
The first Fashionista exudes a chic vibe with a shift dress that features a great pop of color. She chose to accessorize with a Jet Set Candy luggage tag necklace and a camel-colored bag. These little details are simple, but lend a laid back stylish element.
The second Fashionista went for a more business casual look with a black and white striped dress paired with a loosely fitted black blazer with leather detailing. She accessorized with a taupe handbag and an interesting pendant. Choosing neutrals and monotones allowed her jewelry to stand out.
Both of these stylish sisters wore stylish black booties with a small heel, which complemented both of their outfits perfectly. These shoes are perfect for interns, as they’re versatile and can be worn with almost any outfit.
One Simple Change: Heels are always cute, but walking around New York City all day in them can be pretty tiring. Try to ditch the heels and opt for flats instead, or be sure to invest in a good pair of heel inserts for your shoes. Your feet will thank you!
