WHAT TO WEAR: Internship

As a junior, SDSU student, today’s Fashionista made it a priority to find an internship that would allow her to learn more about her major outside of the classroom. She scored a great marketing internship and spends her days commuting from work to school; therefore, dressing for both occasions has been something she has been adjusting to. Her internship is business casual, but she prefers dressing as comfortable as possible for school (while still looking cute, of course).

In today’s outfit, this Fashionista is wearing a fun cheetah-print shirt that adds a bold statement to this ensemble. The colors definitely add a different twist to the traditional cheetah-print we all know, which is one of the things she loves about this top. Dark wash jeans are always a go-to for her since they are not that casual! For her internship, she dresses this outfit up by wearing some camel colored wedges. She prefers wedges because they are perfectly versatile; she tells me they give you a nice boost without being as uncomfortable as a pump or classic high heel. To wrap the look together, she adds this classic black kate spade purse.

One Simple Change: This Fashionista mentioned that when she arrives to school after working at her internship, she simply changes her shoes to sneakers or sandals. It is important for her to be comfortable at school, since she has to walk quite long distances from class to class. She also swaps her purse for a neutral black backpack that goes perfectly with all of her outfits.
