WHAT TO WEAR: Internship

June 3rd, 2015 at 2:00am

Summertime may not actually be here, but we all can say that it is hot! If you work in an office and have to dress business casual, you know that showing up in your usual everyday wear is not an option. Because it’s not what we’re used to, finding an outfit can take a little more time than we can spare in the morning. Believe it or not, we have so any different options, but this look here just might be one of my favorites. If you want to break away from the basic white T-shirt and black pant, this look just might be what you’re looking for. It’s easy to wear and you can spice it up with various types of accessories to make it your own.

These paisley-print shorts gives off a cool Coachella vibe. Its thin fabric allows for a refreshing breeze during the hot summer days. It’s perfect for the office if you want to turn some heads or inspire a fellow Fashionista. If your office doesn’t allow shorts, that’s okay! There are plenty of pants with this type of fabric and pattern to recreate the look. The beige, flowy shirt is summery and playful. The gold necklace is bold and makes the outfit sparkle. In the office, loud and flashy jewelry isn’t really appropriate, but this necklace has a beautiful balance between bold and flashy, making it good for the work place. The gold flat is one of my favorite elements of the outfit. It looks more than suitable for the office but it’s not your average black ballet flat.

Once the clock hits that certain time, we’re ready to out and enjoy the day for ourselves outside of the office. This gorgeous outfit is so amazing, not only for the office, but if you have plans after you’re set. You could leave the flats on or you could switch it to a nude, strappy heel with a red lipstick. Isn’t it amazing that you can go from work to party in less than 10 minutes?

One Simple Change: Instead of your average black dress pants and white button-up, utilize the awesome ’70s trend going on. Because it’s not your average work outfit you can add some heels and be ready for date night! The dope patterns and flowy tops aren’t only perfect for work.
