At the moment now, I am saving up for my Europe travels next year. With some of the family already in Paris, it looks like that will be the majority of my stay. But I’m not fussed. I’m so excited to wander the city that makes people go ooh la la!
Every time I go overseas though, I always get stuck when I pack my suitcases. I never know what to bring! However, I’m going to change that this time round. I’m already planning outfits in my head with this help of this Fashionista I spotted.
When I saw this Fashionista, I immediately thought “Parfait! This is totally an outfit I can wear in Paris!” The beret was a dead give away but why not go patriotic in Paris? Plus, starting with an accessory can be easier when deciding what to wear.
What works with the beret is this Fashionista’s vintage and retro maxi dress. With its pop of colour (not to mention very French too), it’s so unique; it will catch people’s eyes. Think Paris Fashion Week! Maxi dresses are also great for the European summer days, as you want to be comfortable and cool when you travel.
You may however experience the unexpected rainy day, so it is a good idea to also pack a pair of tights and a very warm coat… just in case. And since you’ll be sight-seeing everywhere, you need a good pair of comfortable shoes too. Flats are always a good choice. I suggest my favourites TOMS ballet flats.
One Simple Change: Swap the maxi dress for a short baby doll dress and you have a very cute outfit for a Parisian brunch.
