WHAT TO WEAR: Greek Life

February 23rd, 2016 at 2:00am

For students who are involved in Greek life, you probably find yourself spending a large chunk of your time at your sorority house. Whether it be for meals, meetings or social events, you are most likely at your house numerous times per week. When it comes to running back and forth to your sorority house, it’s expected to want to be comfy. However, no one wants to show up to their sorority house looking like they just rolled out of bed. Luckily, it’s easy to make it to your house feeling comfy and looking effortlessly good.

Take this Fashionista for example. She just got back from her house and is looking trendy, yet cozy in her oversized flannel cardigan. An outfit such as this one is effortless, but she still looks amazing. She is wearing a simple T-shirt, with leggings and booties to compliment her cardigan. Large cardigans like this one are popular in the winter because they are so easy and can be worn over the simplest of outfits. Booties, such as the ones this Fashionista is wearing, are also very favorable in the winter. A cute pair of booties puts the finishing touch on any outfit, and are a cold weather necessity. Since this outfit is just for a quick run to the sorority house, minimal accessories are needed. This sorority gal and Fashionista is wearing a small crown necklace because that is the symbol of her sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha. It’s a perfect everyday statement that adds a cute touch to the outfit. She is also wearing a trendy pair of sunglasses for the walk over to the house. She has turned a trip to her sorority house into a fashion show in the simplest way possibly. You go girl.

One Simple Change: Swap this Fashionista’s leggings for fancier bottoms and you have yourself a great night time outfit. For example, instead of the cotton leggings this Fashionista has on you can ops for leather leggings to make this a chic, evening outfit. Or you can wear black jeans for a nicer ensemble, and even white jeans to make the cardigan pop. Either way, it’s effortless to turn this style into the ideal late night look.
