WHAT TO WEAR: Graduation

“Now I’d like to congratulate the class of 2015.” The Dean concludes his speech with an excited statement about the end and beginning of a new life. A roar fills the crowd and hats are thrown up in the air. You can see big smiles and warm hugs being given. From afar, you can even see bright colors of dresses. Many of the graduates usually wear a casual, formal outfit underneath their silk robes. Graduation is the most exciting day of all because it is the beginning of a new chapter in your life. You wake up, put on your graduation hat and say to yourself, “this is it.” The past four years of your life where you have been working hard all pay off and allow you to become a new person.

Alongside the happiness of becoming a new person, you want to look your best to graduate as well. Luckily, I found a cute Fashionista whose outfit is perfectly put together for a graduation, or a graduation party! She is wearing a high-low cream colored dress and accessorized with a maroon, glazed necklace and the perfect beige pair of summer pumps. The “high-low” part of her dress seems to elongate her body, and makes her look taller. It is important to find the perfect maxi dress that fits you, and this Fashionista surely found one. Graduation calls for formal attire, and this Fashionista incorporated the simple dress with a formal necklace. She not only made sure that graduation was the priority, but that her outfit was important as well.

Sure, the cap and gown covers your oh-so-cute outfit, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be pictures later! Whether you are the graduate, or you are the friend who came out to support the graduate, be sure to accessorize!

One Simple Change: Have a girl’s night out and don’t know what to wear? Keep the dress and wear a pair of red stilettos and a bold red lip! You’ll be sure to graduate from the search for love.
