Game night is something I look forward to all week, especially when that certain week has been extra tough. It’s a night where I can finally relax, and take some time to unwind.
Whether it be at our local coffee shop or chain yogurt shop I always have a blast regardless. I just enjoy seeing all my friends brought together in one central place in the midst of our wild schedules. Everyone deserves a day to rest and set aside the books, the silence of the library, and the clutter of notes upon your desk. It’s your time to seize the night.
When dressing for game night or any sort of hangout with your friends, keep in mind where you’ll be and what exactly you’ll be doing. But don’t overlook something amusing, or vibrant for the night. Your outfit can tend to reflect your mood and you definitely don’t want to be a secluded Debby Downer when it comes to your outfit selection.
Today’s Fashionista is wearing a bright sundress that adds a pop of fun to an evening filled with fun and laughter. The highlights of orange are simply not an add of color, but they shape the form of the dress. By having a floral print within your outfit, you’re aiming for a fresh and feminine look each and every time. Unless you put your own twist on it of course with something edgy and different. Her light gold Kipling bag, and light brown shoes are a statement without stealing the spotlight from the main attraction: the dress. With her side parted hair and wrap-around bracelets, she dresses down an ensemble that can easily be dressed up with a pair of heels and statement earrings.
One Simple Change: Instead of the distraction of being chilly, add a lightweight cardigan to your outfit and wrap around a colored belt over it. It’ll not only keep you warm during game night, but it’ll define your waist line as well.
