Throughout middle school, we deny ever finding enjoyment in the things we used to do as children. We loose interest in board games and parks, and immerse ourselves in a world of friends and cell phones. In high school, we slowly begin gaining back that excitement and free spirit we had as children. By the time we get to college, we’re reading every Buzzfeed quiz about the ’90s, and happily scouring the toy aisle as we holiday shop for our little family members.
One of the things we begin to embrace again as we get older, is the simple, yet highly competitive concept of game night. If you’re like me and my friends, you jump at the chance to play Twister or Clue on any given weeknight. It’s the perfect way to hang out without having to scream over loud music or dress up for a fancy dinner!
This Fashionista knows just what to wear in the event that she gets asked to go skip a night on the town for a cozy night in playing charades. She is dressed in her comfortably cute attire that’s completely necessary for a night of sitting cross-legged on the floor.
Make sure to follow this Fashionista’s example, and wear your most comfortable jeans and coordinating top. Boyfriend jeans and a soft T-shirt are great options. Pair this with your favorite sneakers, and you’re all set.
Whatever you wear, remember to revel in the joy that a night of childlike fun can bring to your life.
One Simple Change: Ditch the jeans and the jewelry for a pair of Nike running shorts, and you are ready to work out!
