We’ve finally reached the end of the semester. No more homework, no more projects, no more 8 a.m.s and the only thing standing in between you and going home for a nice, long summer is finals. The dreaded last tests that either make or break your grades and decipher whether or not those all nighters in the library were even worth it.
Despite the awfulness of finals, the one thing we can definitely succeed at through it all is the outfits we wear to them. I’m a firm believer in if you look good, you feel good and I think if you apply this to what you wear to your finals you’ll do even better on them. When you show up in baggy sweatpants and an oversized sweatshirt, not only do you feel lousy and tired, but there’s the risk your performance on the exam might reflect that as well.
With this all being said I came across this Fashionista on the way out of her last exam of the semester looking put-together and confident as ever. When I talked to her she agreed that because she decided to pull herself together ensemble wise, she felt great walking into the final. Her Forever 21 white and blue printed top is just as comfy as any old college tee but definitely looks far better. Her black Zara leggings are stylish yet give her the right amount of stretchiness to feel relaxed during the test. Lastly, her Payless sandals dress up the outfit while being easy to slip on.
Taking a test is already a nightmare, the last thing you want is to feel restricted in a dressy fitted shirt. So, in order to avoid this we should take note of this weeks Fashionista and her approach at a comfy chic outfit. Sweats should be out of the question, but that doesn’t mean you can’t wear a casual cotton shirt and dress it up with a necklace or cute shoes. Always remember when you look good, you feel good.
One Simple Change: By swapping out the leggings for a pair of blue skinny jean capris this outfit can become a WHAT TO WEAR to brunch instead.
