It’s that (dreaded) time of year again: finals are here! Feel free to start hyperventilating now. With all the upsides that college life has to offer, finals week is the definite downer. Coffee becomes your best friend, sleep is a long lost memory and your cubicle in the library is now your second home. With all the stress this week brings, it is totally understandable that style (and in some unfortunate cases, hygiene) gets put on the back burner. And I know it may seem unnecessary and not worth it during this frantic time, but it is still necessary to look your best during this most feared week of the school year. I operate under the notion of look good, feel good. When you are shuffling around in your favorite overly-stained sweats from high school, you feel gross and are not at your best. When I saw this Fashionista heading into her Advertising final, I knew that she’s aced her finals week style!
Let’s begin with her gorgeous shearling vest. This piece is the epitome of winter-time chic, and can easily be dressed up for a night on the town, or dressed down for class. She paired her vest with a simple cream, long sleeve T-shirt and classic black leggings.
Next, her accessories are simple but still sophisticated, and perfect for a day running back and forth from class to the library. Her neutral Longchamp tote is the best bag for any Fashionista on the go because it is roomy, but still looks polished. She adds a classic touch with her two-toned riding boots, and adds a little glam with her tortoise and gold watch.
What I admire most about this Fashionista is that by looking at her you would never know that she was in the middle of the most hectic week of the school year. her look is simple, classic and still totally appropriate for class. Putting in a little extra effort, even in the most stressful of times, will lift your spirits and you will actually make you do better on the exams. So, remember, look good, feel good. Finals may make your grades suffer, but that doesn’t mean your personal style has to suffer along with them!
One Simple Change: This Fashionista is totally on point with her finals week style, but by swapping those leggings for a great pair of denim, this look would also be perfect for running errands on a warmer winter day!
