This semester is drawing to an end, and what a roller coaster it has been! I think everyone’s crazy starts to show a little by the end of the term. Social media is dominated by “me during finals week” memes and the school libraries and coffee shops start to get crowded during extreme hours of the night and very early morning. Students tend to come closer together during this time and accept each other in all their sweatpants-and-top-knot glory. This camaraderie created through shared desperation is a nice thing to see, but when it comes to actually taking your finals, getting dressed and looking decent is important! Getting dressed instead of showing up in your pajamas gets you focused and mentally ready for the test ahead.
This Fashionista is wearing a perfect finals week outfit that’s also great street style for any day of the week. Black, high-waisted jeans are a simple way to start an outfit. This Fashionista paired them with a gray sweater, tucked in. Even the stripes on the arms of her sweater are a collegiate mark and make her seem even more prepared to face finals! She wore high-top Converse and fun socks with her cropped jeans and threw on several layered necklaces for accessories. Lastly, this Fashionista’s cute tortoiseshell glasses and loose side braid complete her casually preppy look.
